Giving Circle
From its founding in 1810, the Artists Futures Fund has built relationships with a community of philanthropists who recognise the positive social, cultural and economic benefits of supporting artists in need to overcome barriers that would otherwise prevent them from progressing their creative and professional practice.
To deliver on our ambitions to widen the reach of our grant programmes focused on emerging artists in need of support, we must continue to foster a community of like-minded individuals and organisations that share our commitment to the arts.
We are actively seeking annual donations from charitable organisations, artists, galleries and individual philanthropists who wish to support emerging artists so that they can sustain their visual arts practice and contribute to the UK’s enriched and diverse cultural landscape.
Giving Circle members are asked to donate £1,000, £2,500, £5,000 or £10,000 annually, for a commitment of three years and subject to satisfaction with the Artists Futures Fund’s reporting and impact evaluation.
£1,000 subsidises Fellows’ artwork materials and transport costs.
£2,500 contributes to the annual tailored professional development and mentorship programme.
£5,000 supports venue and operational costs for the annual End-of-Fellowship Showcase.
£10,000 pays for one Fellowship bursary made directly to an individual artist.
Your vital funding will enable us to support ten artists every year. By joining the Giving Circle, you will:
Have a direct and measurable impact on the lives of talented emerging artists.
Receive invitations to exclusive events, including our annual End-of-Fellowship Showcase, where Fellows present their work.
Join a network of like-minded supporters who believe in the transformative power of the arts.
Beyond the Giving Circle, one-off donations at any level are also very welcome and would make a significant difference. We are flexible to how a one-off donation might be recognised across our website and marketing materials.
Tax Effective Giving
Donating to Artists Futures Fund, a UK charity, offers significant tax benefits through Gift Aid, reducing your tax liability while increasing the value of your donation to the charity. Gifts to charities, including AFF, are also exempt from Inheritance Tax.
As a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your gift to Artists Futures Fund, and at no extra cost to you. Your donation can qualify for tax relief under Gift Aid as long as you are a UK tax payer. This means if you donate £10,000 to Artists Futures Fund, we can reclaim an extra £2,500 from the Inland Revenue.
Thank You
We are grateful to all those who consider joining the Artist Futures Fund Giving Circle; a close group of philanthropists and art enthusiasts who help to consolidate and grow our grant programmes over the coming years.
