Eight national emerging artists in visual arts
Launching October during Frieze week
Brand new partnership with Hypha Studios, London
Artists Futures Fund is pleased to announce the launch of its annual showcase, opening on 13 October from 6-8pm at Hypha X Eastern City Studios. Tender Vessels celebrates the 2025–2026 Breakthrough Artist Fellows with an exhibition presenting new bodies of work from some of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists.
Tender Vessels will feature works by Evelyn Baker, Rudaina Chowdhury, Olivia Davis, Erin Eaves, Anna-Marie Galares, Emily Hought, Dione Jones, Heidi Lucca-Redcliffe, spotlighting a new generation of voices shaping the cultural landscape. Each artist brings a distinctive body of work to the exhibition whilst highlighting a series of commonalties between them, of autonomy, both embodied and geographical, fragmentation, discomfort, tactility, and transformation; drawing out reflections of imbalance, absurdity and the vulnerability of memory.
The showcase runs until 28 November, and is curated by Hannah Wallis, artist, curator and chair for Artists Now.
In addition to the public exhibition, the programme will include an artist-led panel discussion, a series of short films offering a glimpse behind-the-scenes with each Fellow’s practice, as well as opportunities to meet the artists at collectors’ events, workshops and more. Together, these elements will foster dialogue around the importance of collaborative partnerships, the provision of space for artists to keep making and questions around what needs to exist in the future that doesn’t yet.
“At a time when emerging artists urgently need space, time and meaningful opportunities to be seen, Tender Vessels demonstrates what can be achieved through sustained, direct support for artists and meaningful partnership. We are incredibly proud to bring the work of eight exceptional artists to the heart of London during Frieze week, creating a platform for their distinctive practices, ideas and voices to reach new audiences.”
Olivia Mason, Director of Artists Futures Fund
The showcase is presented in partnership with Hypha Studios, a charity matching creatives with empty spaces & regenerating the high street with cultural hubs & events for local communities.
