THE ART OF OPPORTUNITY: BUILDING PATHWAYS IN THE ARTS, ARTIST PANEL TALK

As part of the 2025 Fellowship Showcase, AFF hosted an artist-led panel discussion curated and chaired by Hannah Wallis. Wallis was joined in conversation by Turner Prize 2024 winner Jasleen Kaur, curator Amrita Dhallu, and former Artist Fellow Joshua Donkor.

Together they explored the evolving landscape of support structures for artists—what they look like now, and what they might need to become in the future. From short- and long-term support models to collective and mutual networks of care, the conversation reflected on the diverse pathways artists and curators are forging across formal and informal contexts.
